This was somewhat different, albeit, you got a card a little gift.

You always used to say stop spending your money, cards are a waste of money but whether it was a 1p or a £1, every penny was worth spending on you & still is.  I raised a glass & celebrated your day but your birthday will never be the same without you not being here.

I will continue to celebrate it, no matter what as I get comfort from this and will continue to do so.
